My Blue Thoughts website has a “previous” life which is a blog created by LAUV. The goal of this project is to “upgrade” it into a beautiful and powerful website and open the general audience around the world, not only the fans. More importantly, how might we encourage people to comfortably and safely share their emotions?

01. Explore the map - Attraction

Build Emotion commonalities

 

The blue maps visualize the user’s stories on the world with the shared content list shown on the right. How to attract the user to share their thoughts is the challenge we are facing at this stage. The interest will be set to share their own stories by exploring the map, reading the content, exploring certain keywords, then creating empathy from there. We highlight the keyword and location of each thought with the designed silhouette to create empathy and fully protect privacy.

 
 
 
 
 

02. Submit Process - action and Payoff

Share Thoughts

 

The visitor can choose to share their thoughts through text or audio, all the thoughts are designed to be absolutely anonymous with the designed silhouette and voice tone. Due to the GDPR related and privacy protection, there are extra steps added to the flow, such as creating an avatar and choosing a location to publish. How to balance efficiency, joy, and safety when designing the process is the challenge we are facing.

What’s more, the AI is not a human, we will be surprised by its power meanwhile we need to design the error space for it to be dumb.

 
 
 
 

03. Onsite Experience - Another layer

worldwide Tour

 

The website can be accessed on any device, beyond that, we designed the blue booth with soft blue light and foggy glass as a moveable space that toured with LAUV’s new worldwide live concerts which share the same themes. All the audiences can have a moment in that space and submit the words they would like to share at that moment.
